Wonder Cat's Birthday

Story

In the land of the humanoid yet ever inhuman Kitkin, on the highest floor of a certain noble family's castle, there lived two girls. 

The first was the daughter of the family, Loriente. From beneath her ultramarine hair sprang two cat ears, a unique trait of the Kitkin. The people called her Princess, and she was very well loved.

The second was the human Peche. She found her life in peril one day when she mistakenly set foot upon the Kitkin's land. Following a convoluted series of events, she was officially designated as Loriente's lady-in-waiting, as a consequence of which she was no longer allowed outside the castle. Still, she lived a fulfilling life free of any want.

And today is August the 7th. That means today is Loriente's birthday! In the ballroom, servants flutter about in preparation of the party to come.

About

A cute, short, 10-15 minute escape room game created and released by Japanese solo developer Ruborvini in 2016 using Wolf RPG Editor, translated into English by Australorph. It's a spinoff of the Bad End of Wonder Cat's Rebellion (Japanese), but you don't need to play that game to play this one.

The game is bubbly and fun on the whole, despite some darker bits here and there. It has a Good End and a Normal End.
